Voting is a complex concept in the world of government. Every individual citizen seems to have a different view on the system in some way. Many citizens believe that voting is a right of their citizenship; however, others think voting is a responsibility that they must carry out. Within these two different opinions, is the question of whether voting in the United States should be made mandatory or not. Our government should not enforce mandatory voting because forcing citizens to vote undermines their voting rights, disregards educational issues, ignores money problems, and shuns procedure predicaments.
