Abstract
I wrote my research paper over whether or not voting should be mandatory. To introduce my paper, I talked about the many different opinions on that question and the voting system in America right now. Then, I picked four main points and discussed them throughout the body of my paper, as my arguments and oppositions. My main points, or arguments, were as follows: voting rights, educational issues, money problems, and procedure predicaments, which I stated in my thesis statement. After arguing each of these points and using facts from reliable sources, I wrapped up my paper with my conclusion, where I restated my point and my thesis. Throughout writing my paper I used many tools to bring my paper together. I used databases from the NCMC library to find reliable sources to use in my paper. The database I used the most was Opposing Viewpoints. This database was reliable and helpful to me in arguing my side, voting should not be mandatory, of my argumentative research paper.
